Hon’ble Minister for Transport and Electricity inaugurated the distribution of free bicycles

At a programme jointly organized by the Department of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare and the School Education Department, the Hon’ble Minister for Transport and Electricity, Thiru S. S. Sivasankar, launched the Government’s Free Bicycle Scheme for the academic year 2025–2026. Under the leadership of the District Collector, Tmt. N. Mirunalini, I.A.S., he inaugurated the distribution of free bicycles worth ₹13.04 lakh to 270 students studying in Perambalur Government Higher Secondary School. These bicycles are being provided to students of class XI studying in government and government-aided higher secondary schools in Perambalur district.(PDF 38KB)
