Objectives

1.Registering and renewing the Educational qualifications of unemployed youth and making priority registrations in the https://www.tnvelaivaaippu.gov.in/
2.Sponsoring candidates for vacancies received from employers based on registration seniority.
3.Providing Unemployment assistance to unemployed youth (General Category and differently-abled persons) in accordance with Government regulations.
4.Conducting free Coaching Classes for educated, unemployed youth (General Category and Differently Abled persons) for competitive examinations for Government jobs.
5.Analysing Employment Market Information.
6.Conducting Job Fair for Unemployed youth (General Category and differently-abled persons) in private sector.
7.Conducting career guidance programs for school, college and ITI students.
8.Encouraging self-employment for unemployed youth.

Achievements And Awards

1.Over the past five years, a total of 79 students—comprising 42 men and 37 women—have succeeded in competitive examinations for Central and State government jobs after attending free coaching classes conducted by the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre, and are now employed in government service.
2.Over the past five years, 4,408 job seekers were selected by employers and issued appointment orders at nine mega private-sector job fairs, while 2,359 job seekers were similarly selected and appointed at 54 small-scale private-sector job fairs conducted by the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre.
3.Financial assistance amounting to Rs.3,53,44,500/- has been provided to 5,433 unemployed youths over the past 5 years.
4.Financial assistance amounting to Rs.46,62,900/- has been provided to 381 unemployed youths with disabilities over the past 5 years.
