  • Objectives

Basic amenities of village panchayats (drinking water, street lights, Implementation of roads and sewerage channels ) – Keeping Panchayats clean and preventive measures – Disbursement of funds provided by Central and State Governments – Monitoring of the tax revenues of the Panchayat – Providing training to the elected representatives of the people on government schemes and implementing the schemes – Auditing the budgets of the Village Panchayats.

From the 15th Central Finance Commission grant fund, administrative sanction has been accorded to the panchayats for improving the basic amenities required by obtaining feedback from the Block Development Officers and the schemes are being implemented.
