The Honourable Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin, launched a programme to provide bank loan linkages and identity cards worth ₹3,500 crore across Tamil Nadu, beginning in Salem. Subsequently, in Perambalur district, a total of 4,794 women members from 385 Self-Help Groups received bank loan sanction orders and identity cards amounting to ₹41.86 crore. The event was presided over by the District Collector of Perambalur, Tmt. N. Mirunalini, IAS, and Thiru. K. N. Arun Nehru, Member of Parliament for Perambalur, handed over the documents.(PDF 38KB)
