Objectives

Protecting and reclaiming temple lands, enhancing temple revenue, safeguarding the temple, undertaking renovation works, and ensuring the welfare of devotees.

List of on-going Projects/ Schemes

1.Annadhanam Scheme
2.’Oru Kala Pooja’ Scheme (Priests working under this scheme are provided a monthly honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- only)
3.An annual grant of Rs. 6,000/- is provided for the electricity connection of temples covered under the ‘Oru Kala Pooja’ Scheme.
4.Pension of Rs. 4,000/- each for village temple priests
5.Departmental pension and departmental family pension
6.A sum of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakh fifty thousand only) is provided per temple under the Adi Dravidar and Rural Temple Renovation Scheme.
