  • Objectives

The objective of TNSRLM is to increase the household income of the poor through livelihood enhancement and access to financial and other services which is sought to be achieved through the following activities
1. Social Mobilisation & Institution Building
2. Capacity Building & Training
3. Financial Inclusion
4. Livelihood Promotion and Marketing
5. Skill Training
6. Partnership & Convergence

The Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission is being implemented across 121 village panchayats within four panchayat unions in Perambalur district, with funding shared between the Central Government (60%) and the State Government (40%).
Under this scheme, groups comprising women, persons with disabilities, and the elderly are formed and provided with training; they are also assisted in securing revolving funds and bank credit linkages to engage in livelihood activities.
